For the past 25 years John Watson aka “The Piano Man” has given hours of pleasure to thousands at the popular Minskys Bar at the Hotel Cremorne.  John is renowned for his sing along performances like “Sweet Caroline”, “American Pie” and “The Piano Man” and still continues to perform countless hits from the 70’s and 80’s classics, Friday and Saturday nights.

Well known for his versatility, John has created an institution at Sydney’s Premier Piano Bar “Minskys” at the Hotel Cremorne.  John’s non-stop 3 hour marathon sing-a-longs are legendary.

Winner of the Ace Awards (Australian Club Entertainers) for best Solo Piano player and Vocal performer, John’s performances have continually evoked and inspired many warm and romantic moments with proposals and anniversaries - even Entertainment Reporter Angela Bishop met her husband gathered around the piano with John at Minskys!

Adoring fans, celebrities and packs of new generation flock to watch John play, often into the early morning hours.  He plays endless requests and pulls the room together with his dazzling personality and unforgettable mix of songs that truly gets the crowd moving.
